1. Chand Baori is a deep all-around well with a big temple on the back side of the building. (2) The basic architectural aspects of the monumental well include a long corridor of stairs leading to five or six stories below ground level that can be seen at the site. (3) Chand Baori has 3,500 narrow steps on 13 floors. It extends about 30 m (100 ft) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest step-wells in India.
